During the week of May 24- 28th, the halls of Conner Street Elementary were transformed into a barnyard as the entire school participated in "One Book, One School" courtesy of our Title I staff! Every student and staff member received a copy of the book and participated in various activities including STEM activities such as designing a pig pen, or creating a colorful spider web. Students also got into the characters and setting of the story by participating in "dress like a farmer" day and "dress as your favorite barnyard animal" day. As students and staff read the book, the halls and classrooms were filled with chatter about what might happen next in the story.
